I’m late. I ran across designer Mayle just today, and on their website they haven’t had a collection since Resort 2008. Sigh. Well, let’s go retro. I first heard of Mayle (today) while browsing LaGarconne.com, which uncannily stocks EVERYTHING exactly to my taste. I want to meet the buying team for this website.
And, while I’m making wishes, I want Mayle to produce another collection. Here are some of my favorites from Fall 2008. This collection was inspired by the following Jeanne Moreau quote:
“To me the word ‘pleasure’ is more important than the word “happiness’. It’s easier to achieve than happiness. It is specific.”
Interesting take on things. Mayle encompasses my current love for all things neutrally colored (black, grey, chocolate, white) and subtly tailored with details evident to those who look closer.

I hope to be inspired by these looks and recreate them using Urban Outfitters, Zara, Primark, George, La Redoute, Steve Madden, Forever 21, etc… you know the deal! So what do you all think of Mayle? Do we like??
